Jimmy and I grew up on Orange St. and attended the Assumption elementary school, although he was a few years behind me.  We had all kinds of adventures together growing up, he was a good friend.  When he went to work for the Red Sox I enjoyed perks, like a personnally guided tour of Fenway Park and introduction to Tom Yawkey.  Jimmy brought me to Boston Garden in 1965, to work alongside him with the Celtics, a posiition I held until 1971.  He was a very outgoing person and someone I could always count upon for anything.  I'll never forget his smile and how he had schoolgirls, and then women, wishing they could be close to him.  I miss Jimmy and, if what we are taught is true, hope to see his smile and shake his hand again.
