I knew Don from back when we were kids at Carter Park in the 1950's. He was the smallest kid in the park, but never took a back seat to anyone when playing baseball, basketball, or football. I watched him move on as a running back with CHS later in life. I was proud to have known him...he was a gentleman and a gentle man...may he rest peacefully.
